Deadlines
The Engineering Project Organization Society is accepting applications from Ph.D. students for its EPOS Doctoral Consortium to be held in conjunction with the 2023 Engineering Project Organization Conference to be held at Technische Universität (TU) Berlin's Wedding campus.
The “Future Faculty 5K” Doctoral Consortium will be held on Monday-Tuesday, June 19-20, 2023, along with several events to occur during the Engineering Project Organization Conference from June 20-23, 2023.
The content of this Doctoral Consortium will focus on providing Ph.D. candidates who are interested in becoming faculty members with information on interviewing for academic jobs, succeeding in an academic career, writing your first grants, preparing for your first classes, and contributing to the growth of the EPOS community. The consortium will be led by a panel of faculty members with proven research, teaching and service records who will address key issues in academic life such as publishing in leading journals, teaching best practices, funding your research, contributing to the research community, subtleties of the tenure process, as well as networking and research collaboration.
The application deadline is December 9th, 2022. To apply, please send the following information to John E. Taylor via email at jet@gatech.edu.
Preference will be given to doctoral candidates at later stages of their PhD program. Decisions will be made by a committee of EPOS members by mid-January 2023. Late applications will not be considered. Participation is limited to a small number of Ph.D. students.
